Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to Campbell Town I go, again.
I think I’m going to be seeing quite a bit of Campbell Town this year, what with all the professional learning that I am running. Today it was just me in the car, and I left early (despite having had a rather late night finishing off the preparation), and so I had time to stop for some interesting things.
Since my journey north started from home rather than uni, I headed up the eastern side of the river, and spotted these pelicans just north of the Bowen Bridge.
The sun was just starting to appear over the nearby hills, and there was an early morning drifting mist that created some lovely effects as I headed along the Brighton bypass.
Since there are two days of PL to do, I am staying in the mighty metropolis of Campbell Town (population: 800). This evening, following dinner in a restaurant (possibly the restaurant, unless there are counter meals at the pub), I took a detour on the way back to my accommodation and came across the old Anglican cemetery on the outskirts of town, just lit up by the fading sunset.
