I've always wanted a bumper sticker that said "I'm a female, LDS/Mormon, Scout leading, geocaching, piano-playing, bicycling, mathematics educator with a PhD in maths ... and I VOTE"! Well, it’s finally happened. We’ve really moved. [Given that I helped a little as my parents moved house in the last couple of weeks, you can imagine that I am “over” moving.] We have farewelled the old building, although with something of a sense of “This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a […] In the process of packing up my office—apparently we’re moving tomorrow, although there is still time for that to be changed (!)—I have discovered why I always feel as if my brain is full. The last bits of packing up involved the piles of stuff on my desks, which had been filed according to the sedimentary system, […] Why is it that 50% of the time there is little resemblance between my taxi-driver and his ID photo on the dash?
