The accumulated effects of the previous days’ gallivanting took its toll on Mum, who was feeling a bit less than her usual chipper self this morning, so we had a quieter day. I spent the morning reading another chapter of a PhD thesis that I am examining (unfortunately I really did need to do some work during this week of leave), and then we went for a bit of a drive, finishing up at Sisters Beach in the afternoon.
Looking towards Rocky Cape from Sisters Beach.
Sand-encrusted marram grass roots.
Rocks and shell.
Off-shore island with lagoon in the foreground, Sisters Beach.
View of the beach and cape through the pine trees.
Night sky over Boat Harbour Beach (30 second exposure).
