If you follow the norms
Of all literary forms
It will prove that you know how it’s done.
But the sign that will show
Just how deeply you know
All the typical tropes is when you thumb your nose at the standards and do your own thing.

Comments: More meta-irony. And another case of something that has been done before elsewhere (e.g., the limerick that ends “I always try to fit as many words into the last line as I possibly can”). Sorry.
Ooooh, this is the halfway point (except that, at the time of writing the poem, I hadn’t solved the “Illusion” problem, a problem since rectified).
