Today was not particularly interesting, nor could I get inspired about doing something photographically creative or fun.
I did, however, have slightly sore feet as a legacy of some bushwalking last week. This got me thinking about footwear, and as a consequence I took photos of several pairs of my shoes and recorded their stories. Thus it is that this month’s 12 of 12 collection is more a “capture some mundane personal history” effort, as opposed to some great photographic challenge.
If you don’t find shoes fascinating, feel free to skip this post. If you’re prepared to give this idea a chance, click here for the collection.
Imelda Marcos, eat your heart out!
We didn’t even know you had eleven pairs of footwear!
I went and soaked my feet in cold water immediately -in sympathy – hope you feel better.
What, no stilettos? No heels at all? We’re getting old. Ali has a fetching pair of leopard print gumboots should you need to borrow them anytime…
I don’t do stilettos. I don’t even do slight elevations. And if it’s to do with getting old, then I’ve been ancient forever! See comment re being able to walk 300m without mortem autes pedes.
