The one good thing about leaving work at 7:30pm at this time of year* is the loveliness of the evening summer light along Royal Parade — my favourite Melbourne street — and then along the bike path through Royal Park past the zoo. The more botanically minded of you will realise that they’re not native Australian trees, and so they will become denuded come autumn. I’d love to do a year-long photo-a-day sequence from the same spot on Royal Parade to catch the changing of the seasons. I wonder if I can figure out a sensible way of doing this.
* In addition to the fact that I am leaving work!
Ooh, nice! I love tree-lined streets.
Now, if you were walking or cycling to work at Tas. Uni. through St. David’s Park or via Fitzroy Place…
