60.          Rejection

Unwanted, spat out,
Returned to sender,
When all I wanted was acceptance.
Expelled, dismissed,
Ousted and spurned,
The firm finality of rejection.
Vending machine
Refuses my coins,
The anguish of unattained chocolate.
