Okay, I kind of feel that sunset silhouettes are a cop-out when it comes to taking photographs that you hope will look good, but I still like them. My tenth midlands work-related* journey was to Launceston to write problems for some forthcoming maths competitions (because that’s what rocks my boat), and on the homeward trip there was quite a nice sunset. As we raced southward I had to hope that the nicest bit of sunset would coincide with a decent bit of scenery, and it kind of did.
* Writing problems for the state maths association isn’t strictly in my job description, but it’s strongly linked to the work I do and it is a sort of community service.
Almost reminds me of the cherry blossoms in Japan
