No, I haven’t signed up a sponsor for this blog, the evidence in the photo on the right notwithstanding (enquiries welcome however!).

This month’s 12 of 12 fell on one of the Mondays when I teach a four-hour evening class, and I needed a snack to tide me over. I’d hoped to have time to find and eat something healthier and a little more substantial, but I was, as usual, pressed for time. It was one of those “fly by the seat of your pants” days, where you work non-stop and hope like crazy that what you’ve done is enough to bluff your way through the critical bits.

So, this month’s photos capture some of the typicalities and quirks of this particular day and season. They are, therefore, not rivetingly exciting nor even marginally good as photos (there was barely time to take them; it was that sort of day).
