Helen Chick I've always wanted a bumper sticker that said "I'm a female, LDS/Mormon, Scout leading, geocaching, piano-playing, bicycling, mathematics educator with a PhD in maths ... and I VOTE"! Hmm…. I’m not sure how I knew this (and slightly embarassed that I do!), but I’ll blame the presence of a 7 year old daughter in the house 🙂
Ahh, it all makes sense. Either that little detail was missing from the version I heard (so long ago I can’t remember when) or I didn’t note its significance at the time or ever after.

I guess if clothing reverted or disappeared, there could be a little embarrassment when she left the ball. The emperor’s new clothes comes to mind. 🙂
