Mrs and Mr Superb Fairy Wren, with bodies about half the size of a clenched fist. There were several of these little birds flittering around the campsite, fearlessly taking advantage of dropped crumbs around our feet. They move very fast, though, which explains the blue blur in the second photo. Mr usually has a harem of two or three lady friends.
