For the last couple of weeks I had been really good about cycling to work. This week, in contrast, bad weather and awkward evening commitments have forced me to drive the car. This is the underground car park at work. Apparently the first Mad Max movie contains a scene that was shot here. Being in a famous movie location seems weird; because I grew up in Tassie — where hardly any movies have ever been shot thus making it virtually impossible to ever be in the location of some scene or other — I seem to have this belief that movie locations just simply don't exist in the real world ... or could be somewhere as mundane as your work car park (admittedly it is an award-winning work car park: it manages to have trees growing on top of it)!
