I am, of course, back at work after my Big Trip (which, at the time of present writing, I still haven’t finished blogging about). I don’t anticipate quite as many work-related trips up and down the Midlands Highway this year in comparison to last year, but there’ll still be some and today was the first. Unfortunately, I was in a bit of a hurry in both directions (exacerbated by slow sections due to the roadworks that are continuing months after this Midlands trip in April last year), and although I was looking out for photos and enjoying the summer scenery I didn’t really have time to stop. This shot was taken just after I’d dropped off my travelling companion at her place in Dromedary, which is a little way off the Midlands Highway, and shows the view up the Derwent River towards Boyer.
[I have set myself a challenge to take at least one photo every time I have an extended northward trip for work, as part of a psychological ploy to help me enjoy rather than begrudge the journey.]
