I’ve had a work day, a Church service day, and a photographic day (even though the camera du jour was the iPhone).
I needed to get some preparation done for another day of professional learning that is coming up, and, after designing one of the activities at home, I headed down to uni to work on some additional things while my friend Lisa, the laminating legend who had kindly offered to give me a hand, ran two laminators simultaneously and then got going with a guillotine.
After this I headed out to Glenorchy for a Church activity which, among other things, involved packing up lots of donated toiletry items to make hygiene packs to give to Anglicare for people who might be homeless or in urgent need of support. I don’t know how many packs were made up in total, but they overflowed a couple of large tables.
In the last couple of months I have been very determined to get 10000 steps a day, but, given the sedentary nature of my work, this has meant that I have had to be proactive about being active, seeking out dedicated walks of 3-5km each day to get my steps up. Today, I headed to Risdon Brook Dam reserve for a 4km stroll and decided to use the 12th as an excuse to go looking for bonus photographs.

And right now I should be marking … but that makes for boring photographs.
(The oddly named “12 of 12” project involves taking 12 photos on the 12th of the month. This provides the opportunity to get snapshots of different aspects of your life … or some other photographic focus. I have been doing this since 2009.)
