Can I sue a company for saying the following to me more than once while I am on hold?

“Thank you for waiting. Your call has progressed in the queue and will be answered by the next available consultant.”

Surely “your call has progressed in the queue” means that I have moved up one place, and “answered by the next available consultant” means that the next consultant who is free will attend to my call. Logical deduction implies that this must mean that I am at the top of the queue. Therefore, ipso facto*, the hold message should be said only once.

Ten repetitions later, and I am again lamenting the demise of logic from the school curriculum.

*Yes, I know “therefore, ipso facto” is a tautology. Sometimes dramatic effect is more necessary than logical niceties … but not in the case of hold messages.
