One of those days …

Today was one of those days in which I had grand plans for dealing with the To Do list and then, just as I was about to start on it, something more urgent cropped up, which was interrupted—a few minutes later—by something even more imperative … and it all went downhill from there.

To make matters worse, every new thought that popped into my head squeezed out the old one into the wilderness of the forgotten.

By the end of the day I have no recollection of the brilliant ideas I may have had during all of this, and there are still things undone from today’s unplanned incoming additions … while the original To Do list mocks me by being as long as it was when the day began.

Sigh.
