23 January 2015. And the third night in a row.
22 January 2015. It was a rather spectacular sunset tonight.
One day I should set up a proper time-lapse sequence.
8:27pm.
8:35pm.
8:40pm.
8:52pm.
21 January 2015. There were some wonderful cloud formations loitering over the mountain
this evening, which were set aglow by the setting sun.
16 January 2015. The weather was very miscellaneous today, and after clearing in the
late afternoon, the clouds started coming back in over the mountain, giving the sun a
moment to do its "crepuscular rays thing" before the clouds hid just about everything.
31 December 2014. And the sun sets on another year.
This new year's eve photo turned out to be
the 50th "Moods of the Mountain"
blog entry.
13 December 2014. Dusk after sunset (yeah, I know: when else is dusk?!). I think I
probably missed the best of the sunset, and I can't remember if the colours were like
this to the eye, as opposed to just being an artefact of the camera's settings.
24 November 2014. What had been an overcast day yielded a spectacular sunset
as the clouds cleared a little, and this was followed by the setting of a crescent
moon, showing "the old moon in the new moon's arms".
1 November 2014. It was way too tricky for getting the right exposure with one shot,
but you get the general idea. And with bonus "crepuscular rays"! :-)
19 October 2014. A little fuzzy and damp around the edges.
15 October 2014. Dappled morning mountain.
9 October 2014. Early morning sunlit cloud mass, with a hint of rainbow.
4 October 2014. This sunset photo is the first contribution to the
Moods of the Mountain collection from my new digital SLR.
22 September 2014 at 6:15pm. Sunset after a warm early spring day
(viewed with the naked eye the colours weren't quite so yellow).
11 September 2014. After another week of mild weather, I woke in my cosy house
to find an overnight dusting of snow had decorated the top of the mountain.
Before long, the day felt rather chilly.
3 September 2014 at 5:30pm. Setting sun on dispersing rain clouds.
