Although I had several reminders that it was “12 of 12” today, opportunities were limited and then I nearly ended up forgetting entirely. However, I decided I needed a 15 minute walk on my way to Scouts, and suddenly remembered that I needed my photos, although I only had my iPhone as my weapon of choice.
However, these photos are a reminder that in 15 minutes—especially if you are lucky enough to live in Tasmania and it finally stops being miserable like it had been for most of the day—you can find some truly beautiful things. Most of these shots are from the foreshore track along the bank of the Derwent River near Rose Bay (with the last taken after Scouts on my way home), while the 10th and 11th are from around near Montagu Bay.
I needed the walk, and I appreciated the glory of a spring daylight saving evening.
(The oddly named “12 of 12” project involves taking 12 photos on the 12th of the month. This provides the opportunity to get snapshots of different aspects of your life … or some other photographic focus. I have been doing this since 2009.)
