Moods of the Mountain #73

After what must have been one of the mildest and longest summers on record, we had a rather abrupt change of season this morning. I can now see why it felt a bit cool last night, prompting a move to long PJs instead of the shorts that have been the staple of overnight attire for some months. I love the way the snow-line starts so abruptly, and the tinge of pink induced by sunrise.
