It has been a chilly week in Hobart (even though I haven’t been around for much of it). I missed the excitement of Monday’s big snow dump because I was in Launceston, and I arrived back too late on Tuesday evening to get any really good shots (although there were some spectacular views of the whitened countryside as I headed south). Wednesday’s secondary dump put a bit more snow on top of what remained on the mountain, but was not as widespread or disruptive as Monday’s had been when many many schools and roads had been closed around Hobart and further afield. The snow has lingered for the rest of the week, as it is probably one of the deepest sets of falls that we’ve had in a long while. These shots are from Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings respectively.
