It was the last night of Scouts for the term, and, as it happens, my penultimate night for a few months. Unbeknownst to me certain people had organised a farewell supper and bon voyage cards, which were very much appreciated.
There was also a surprise gift.
My good friend May, who has amazing creative powers, had transformed the silly little description I wrote under my photo (left side of my main blog page) into a highly amusing piece of iconography, screen-printed onto a panel and then made into a small bag. She wasn’t sure what I’d think, but I was impressed, humbled, grateful … and rolling on the floor laughing. Thanks, May.
