Moods of the Mountain #44

There was a lovely sunset tonight, as you can see. However, it was still captured with my usual compact digital camera because I hadn’t had a chance to get my new toys out of their boxes (I’ll give you more information about this another time, but I finally got around to getting me my promised-to-myself birthday present). I still haven’t opened the boxes, despite the shininess of their contents and my eagerness to try them, because (a) I’ve promised myself I have some work that has to be done first and (b) I want to actually take them somewhere worthy of a good test run and the “work that has to be done first” list is way too long for going “somewhere worthy of a good test run” any time soon.

In the meantime, I can still enjoy this sunset, whatever toy was used to take the photos. (Colour balance disclaimer: it wasn’t quite so glowing yellow to the naked eye.)
