On my way home from work tonight — and after a lengthy search for a parking spot in the city since the streets were crowded — I stopped and visited another of the Dark Mofo installations, this time Dichroic Filter Piece (and some other less interesting pieces, which were redeemed by being in interesting underground spaces). On my way back I also took a few more photos of Articulated Intersect. The night was surprisingly mild, bringing out hordes of people for the winter feast event, and the calm weather produced good reflections of the lights in the harbour.
And the photo below was taken a couple of nights later from Lindisfarne Bay.
May I copy the second prism photo? – such a terrific image. My resident artist wants to draw the prisms and I’d like to give her your image along with the best of mine.
Sure. I’d love to see what she comes up with. I was quite pleased with the photos; my current “little” camera has been doing such a good job with various things — indeed, it’s been the camera of choice for the last couple of months — that I am almost starting to question whether or not to do my planned upgrade of my “big” camera (except that there have been a few occasions where the extra features of the planned upgrade would have been useful).
