The end of the year was rather busy and so I didn’t get around to reporting on the rest of my second Get-Rid-Of-It Challenge, conducted during November, and a continuation of my house tidying and de-cluttering that I had begun in the first GROIC back in October. My “rules” for the GROIC2 month were to get rid of a total of 1+2+3+…+30 items, but I placed myself under no obligation to do them in order or even one pile per day. I just kept a list and took photos, and by the end of November (thanks to a massive blitz on the November 30 that ran an hour into December) I managed to finalise the requisite piles. I won’t bore you with a fully enumerated list, nor the complete set of photos, but I got rid of travel memorabilia, trinkets, old Scouting stuff, old software, sundry sundries, a large pile of old Tax Packs, and a very annoying thicket of bamboo.
