About 6 weeks ago I popped down to Hobart to look at some houses (well, one in particular) and a little over a month later (plus some negotiations with my bank) I was the owner of a second house. It was a bit scary to buy something before actually selling my Melbourne abode, but it felt like the home for me.
So, with the first SOLD sign in place, it was just a matter of getting the second one sorted out.
As it happened the auction date was set for the 12th, and long-term readers of this blog will know that this means — yes — an over-documented record of the day. The good thing is that the second SOLD sign is now in place. (And neither of them say “SLOD” 🙂 )
Here then is the over-documented record of the day.
Wonderful news! Beth and I are expecting a house warming party to welcome us to your new neighbourhood. Could be persuaded to bring bubbles and chocolate if that helps.
You may have to bring glasses too, and then not let me near them!
I like that 12 of 12 captures run-of-the-mill days as well as some historic ones! Looking forward to you moving down here. We should encourage you to have a house warming – I’m happy to help cater – you know I do ‘over cater’ well!
