Dramatis persona*

helenhead Helen Chick

I've always wanted a bumper sticker that said "I'm a female, LDS/Mormon, Scout leading, geocaching, piano-playing, bicycling, mathematics educator with a PhD in maths ... and I VOTE"!

I think this makes me a minority group of cardinality 1!

* Since there's only one of me and "personae" is plural (I think), I've gone with dramatis persona.

12 of 12, February 2011

This month’s 12 of 12 is embarrassing but honest.

I had a Saturday mostly free of commitments and instead of taking advantage of this by doing things I need to do (and, in some cases, would have been very happy to do, like go caching), I mostly bludged.

Bludged, festered, slothed, lounged, and was otherwise pathetically lazy.

As a result of this rampant unproductivity I don’t have a lot to show for February 12th, apart from a few recent blog entries (which I do regard as accomplishments, so I wasn’t a total waste of space) and 12 photos showing how pathetic I was.

There is a 13th photo, at right, which is of something I spotted on Friday but only had a chance to photograph on the 12th. It didn’t entirely fit my 12 of 12 theme, although I suppose it is blatant evidence of someone else having a bad day as well.

Ooops.

I wonder how many they printed!!

Anyway, here is my shameful 12 of 12 for February.

  • Matthew Cengia

I’m sure nobody will notice that sign: I didn’t until you alluded to a flaw in it :-). Also, I didn’t know you micro-blogged! I put stuff off yesterday too, though I don’t have *too* much to do, and I’m sure I’ll get it done today… sometime. It certainly won’t happen *next* weekend!

  • Ha! I love it. Some of the elders in my mission got their pictures taken with a stop sign, somewhere down south (Korea), that said “SOTP.”

  • Sorry, but you are an AMATEUR when it comes to laziness!!
