I’m not entirely sure to what extent or for how long I’ve aspired to reach the lofty goals of the title of this post, but I can say that the first part was achieved quickly and easily: I have been vague for longer than I can remember.
The second part has just been attained as well, so I’m pretty happy. The extra nice thing is that my friend Robyn achieved it too (although there was a period yesterday when neither of us knew whether or not the other had, and both felt a little awkward about asking … just in case the other hadn’t!).
So now* I’m an “AssPro”, as it’s commonly described in colloquial conversation … which sounds like something for headaches or some donkey who insists on being paid. Fortunately the written abbreviation is usually something like AssocProf, which is less ambiguous but more unpronounceable.
*Well, on January 1, technically.
Congratulations on the wonderful news! You should be extremely proud of yourself. Will pass the news on to Lynden, Beth etc. Woohoo!
Woo hoo! Congrats Helen, that’s fantastic news! 🙂
Congratulations, AssPro!! 😀 And great your friend got there too.
Congratulations! =)
WOW Helen! You will no doubt be filled with excited anticipation – relief, pride – humility, happiness – nervousness. I’m sure you will do as you always do; better than you fear – less than you hoped. Of course this is at the same time as doing what others see as downright awesome. Congratulations. Love Yvette and all the Barnesy’s
Congrat’s on the promotion Helen! (AssPro…I resisted the temptation to you know what ;-))
Congratulations on this promotion Helen!
You richly deserve it.:)
