3.          Light

I dreamt I flew last night:
A featherweight
Drifting on zephyr breezes;
Catching a thermal,
Defying gravity’s downward thrust;
A gossamer phantom
Insubstantial and free.

But when I stood on the scales this morning
I was just as heavy as ever.
