Autumn at Harcourt Arboretum (31 October 2009)

Lots and lots of leaves

The Harcourt Arboretum is part of Oxford University. It is not a formal garden, but instead tries to represent a variety of landscape types. There are lots of maples (known here as "acers" after the scientific name of the genus) and other deciduous trees currently doing their autumn thing. Most of you will be pleased to know that I didn't record the names of the individual species. It was a bit gloomy, and so there's a little camera shake for which I apologise.
